Aims and objectives of the festival:


  • Development of the multiconfessional culture of Saint-Petersburg and Russia, support of the originality of the city in the country’s and world’s culture;
  • Unification of the different religious and spiritual traditions in the festival movement, contributing to the spiritual education, cultural and moral development of the modern society;
  • Revealing and comprehensive support of the gifted performers and groups, contributing to the development of the spiritual culture, tolerance and respect to religions in the modern society;
  • Exchange of creative experience between the performing groups, leaders, educators, members of different confessions, maintenance of creative contacts between them, improvement of professional skills of the managers and leaders and educators (exhibitions, conferences, seminars, contests, concerts, master-classes and creative meetings in various fields and nominations, and also “round tables” devoted to the multiconfessionality and the modern culture situation;


Gala-concert and award ceremony of the Festival participants will be arranged on November 16th, at the Day of Tolerance.


Nominations of the Festival:

  • The Choral performing art (academical, modern, folk traditions dedicated to spiritual music)
  • The Vocal performing art (solo- vocalists, vocal ensembles and choirs of academic and ethnographic traditions);
  • The instrumental performing art on different specialties: solo-instrumentalists (piano, string, wind, folk instruments), ensembles and orchestra of academic and ethnographic traditions);
  • Vocal-instrumental ensembles of academic, stage traditions and ballads;
  • Literature and poetry (spiritual culture);
  • Other forms of spiritual art (decorative and applied arts, painting).


Choral, orchestral, ensemble and solo performing art (vocal, instrumental and vocal-instrumental)  consists of different compositions belongs to different styles of spiritual (sacred) and secular  music.

Some examples of program requirements are situated at the “Re-league” 2015 competition nominations.

Participants during the festival take part at concerts, contests, exhibitions etc. and present work of different traditions and genres of the spiritual culture. Performing of spiritual works (musical-spiritual, literature-spiritual and artistic ones) of the modern Russian and foreign authors is welcomed.


Age groups:

Till 11 years, 11-16 years; 17-20, 21-25 years; 26-32 years and older; Mixed group.

In case of absence of any age groups, the organizing committee has the right to unite or introduce new age groups.


Jury of the Festival: represented by known professionals in the spheres of spiritual culture, representatives of the foreign consulates, famous musicians, composers, university professors, representatives of clergy and confessions.


The participants of every nomination receive a Diploma of participant of the International Multiconfessional Festival “Re-ligo” Saint-Petersburg 2015 (according to the nomination).


Tutors and leaders of the performers and the ensembles with the high level of mastery will be also awarded with diplomas.
